It’s really is funny how in the Summer the movies get bigger but the trailers are smaller. During the winter and fall, you have the big announcements of when a trailer is coming out and which film it’s coming out on. Sure studios do it as a plug to earn more money for a film they aren’t sure is going to make money, but that doesn’t take away from the fun it brings. So what I am trying to say is, nothing this week really grabs my interest. But let’s take a look anyway. Remember to click each pic for their respective trailer. Enjoy… (more…)

What a busy week it is for trailers, there are so many this week that I have to leave some out…for shame I know. Check this out though; there are so many good trailers that there won’t be a trailer trash this week either. I like to throw a wrench in things every now and then just so you don’t get bored. If you have listened to the Mid-Week Minute podcast then you got a little preview, but these are so good you got to watch them again… (more…)

I’m 28 years old and still gaming. Video Games have been a part of my life for decades and I have noticed a significant decline in my desire to play single player games. Maybe my heart just isn’t in it anymore, maybe I’m getting old, or perhaps single player games are a thing of the past and multiplayer gaming is taking over? I pondered this question and the possible answers and came to the conclusion that while I am still young at heart and still very much in love with video games, multiplayer gaming is the future and that gaming in general really was never meant to be just a single player experience… (more…)

Howdy folks, Bobert here apologizing for the lateness of this article. Its been a busy week, but I’m happy to finally welcome you to another edition of New Release Tuesday. And what a Tuesday it is! Packed with so much good stuff that I had a hard time narrowing it down to the fifteen on display. Sure there’s a few older titles getting a re-release on Blu-ray, but there’s plenty of original flicks making their way onto that wonderful little shiny disc. Plus, the premiere of a childhood favorite that I’m awaiting impatiently to revisit. Go beyond the break to see what I’m talking about… (more…)

Iʼve become somewhat accustomed to posting funny pictures instead of news about the weekʼs releases, but itʼs more than a little refreshing to have something to talk about in todayʼs edition of Game & Watch. The big story in release news is that I Love Horses for the Nintendo DS was delayed and should see release this Wednesday. Arguably as important is the release of X-Men Origins: Wolverine for every system under the sun. I will be picking up one and only one of these games. Thereʼs only so much awesomeness I can take in one seven day span, but compared to the low standard set by the past month, this week is amazing. Go beyond the break to see if I opt for Wolverine or pretty pink horses in this, the final week of April… (more…)

This week I have a forgettable romp through the land of catchy forgettable songs, a trip down memory lane with musicians as old as I am, and finally a journey to the land of disappointment, I am still suffering. So relax, place your hand in mine and come along to see what I have in store for you. It will only hurt a little, I think… (more…)

Bea Arthur died. As a comedy fan, it’s a loss. Most people from my generation only know her from “The Golden Girls” and Comedy Central Roasts, but that is a bad thing. This is a woman that has been one of the biggest influences on TV comedy ever. Maude, All in the Family, The Sid Caesar Show, and The Mary Tyler Moore Show. That’s like the “Murder’s Row” of earlier television (sorry geeks, that’s a baseball reference). So good by Bea and thanks. And now for something completely different… (more…)
